Ready For Death now and again this fall

Posted in Bands on April 23, 2022

Featuring former members of Pelican and current members of Racetraitor or Indecision, Translation Loss Records has shared a new single and announced the signing of Chicago thrash band Ready for Death.

The new single, below, is called "Cyborg Priest," and the label says a full-length is expected this fall.

Bassist Luca Cimarusti says, via press release:

This track introduces the character of the Cyborg Priest, the deranged, cosmic cult leader who is one of the main players in the lyrics of our debut record’s sci-fi-horror rock-opera. He’s collecting followers, and he’s destroying everything in sight. I was the last member to join Ready For Death, and when I was asked to join, the band sent me a handful of stripped down demos they had recorded with a programmed drum track. When I heard the song, I knew I would be a fool not to join.
