New Miserable Experience in 2023

Posted in Bands on December 19, 2022

Conceived by David Grossman (Rosetta, Lotus Thrones) and Joshua Kost (Model Prisoner, Selfish Lover, Lotus Thrones), and featuring Bruce McMurtrie (Rosetta), and Brett Bamburger (Revocation, River Black, Publicist UK), New Miserable Experience will release their debut album early next year.

The record is called Philosophy on Pessimism, releasing on Translation Loss Records on Jan. 27.

“There’s no rules,” says David Grossman, vocalist, of how the band works on their debut album. “Josh opened up his sketchbook and we built from there. "We sorted through ideas we liked the most and would share the files until we had a complete song. I often found that we picked loops and takes where whatever happened, was what needed to happen. Going with the flow seemed to be a more satisfying experience for everyone".
