Year001, a new punk trio from California's East Bay area has shred their first track, "Chances," posted below. The band draws comparison to Hot Water Music, Lawrence Arms, Fiddlehead, Have Heart, and Iron Chic.
“Every chance is a risk, that can be slightly painful. Like a bee sting. The cost of a single sting is manageable, but too many can be destructive,” vocalist Justin King says of the single. “Still taking those chances is the only way to truly live, even when it feels like you’re running ragged and out of energy.”
The single will appear on the band's debut album, The Sound Of Our Voice, comes out in March. The single is available on digital platforms now.
