Washington, DC post-hardcore duo Sutras has announced their debut EP, set for release on August 30. The band pulls from influences such as Tragedy, Jesu, Majority Rule, Pianos Become the Teeth, and 108 for something they call "a Dharma punk collective – acknowledging the one thing they know very well: suffering."
The band is comprised of Tristan Welch and Frederick Ashworth. and the EP was mastered by James Plotkin at Developing Nations in Baltimore, MD.
