Sludgeworth, initially active in the early 1990s, returned to the scene in 2022 with the reissue of their LP, Losers of the Year, via Red Scare Industries. Now the Chicago, IL based has shared their first new song in 30+ years, which will appear on an upcoming 7".

The band has an upcoming release show on June 22 at Beat Kitchen in Chicago (with Bollweevils) to mark its release.

“I never thought that after 30 plus years, I’d be saying, 'Hey check out our new 7” on Red Scare!,' drummer Brian McQuaid says. “But I think people will say, ‘Yep! That’s Sludgeworth' when they hear it.”
