Irish musician Alan O'Keeffe has shared his first solo material. Under the name Last Man Back, O'Keeffe shares the single "Crossed Fingers" from an upcoming long-play release.

"I moved to the US in 2007 with my mate Graham," says O'Keeffe. "We came here with the plan to write and record an album in a year before our visas expired. I’m still here and that album never got written! NYC was the first stop. I just dove right in head first. Between playing in bands and working in bars in the Lower East Side and Brooklyn, I could write books about the stories. Magical stuff, really."

Having played with Des Roar (and more), Last Man Standing nods to the college rock/alt-rock playbook

On "Crossed Fingers," O'Keeffe is joined by AJ Edmiston on drums and Chris Buckle on guitar and backing vocals.
