Members of Minutemen, Acid Mothers Temple, and more have come together in a new project dubbed Spirit Of Hamlet, who will release their debut album on March 17. The records is called Northwest of Hamuretto and comes out on Broken Sound Tapes.
The band includes Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, The Stooges), Kawabata Makoto (Acid Mothers Temple),Scotty Irving (Clang Quartet) and producer Benjy Johnson. They shared the song "Float" this week from the upcoming record, highlighting the experimental bent of the record, rooted in psychedelic sounds.
