Walking Bombs will release an album, Spiritual Dreams Above Empty Promises, on April 7 (digital release).
The band was formed by Morgan Y. Evans, joined by varied collaborators across the record. The latest single, "Reach For The Light," also features producer Ash Umhey on guitar, Taraka Larson on vocals and organ, and Justin Zipperle (Shadow Witch) on drums.
The project itself can broadly be called alternative, but with several hybrid styles throughout the album.
Elizabeth Gomez Dapena (Globelamp, ex-Foxygen) plays heavily on the album, as well as members and former members of The Chrome Cranks, The Stabbing Jabs, The Alchemy Unit, Prince Rama, The Natural Lines, Matt Pond PA, Meowtain, Gridfailure, Talon, 5rvln5, Kore Rozzik Band, and more.
