Fotocrime has shared a cover of "Avalanche," originally by Leonard Cohen. The new version features fellow Louisville, KY artist Sarah Balliet (Murder By Death) on cello.

The song is the first release in a new series of covers by Fotocrime, as band founder Ryan Patterson recently built his own studio and saw a series deconstructing favorites as a way to utilize the new set up. The series will lead up to a digital EP to release in July with additional singles coming as soon as this week.

Catch Fotocrime on tour in July.
