The debut Pile of Love album is out today, a self-titled surprise record from the five-person group that features members of Drug Church, State Champs, and The Story So Far.
The band got its start last year, when touring stopped and musicians had to find new creative outlets.
Speaking of the group's formation, guitarist Ryan Graham states: "Pile of Love was solely created as a fun, no pressure musical outlet. The desire to play and the overwhelming amount of downtime was the perfect storm to start a new project. We met every Saturday to jam and write a new song, and before we knew it, we had a full length and it was time to get in the studio. Music for music’s sake."
The band is comprised of guitarist Nick Cogan (Drug Church), drummer Chris Villeneuve (Drug Church), bassist Kevin Geyer (The Story So Far), guitarist Graham (State Champs), and vocalist Morgan Foster (Mobin's Child).
