Nice Surprise has shared two songs via Bandcamp of the new project featuring members of Riverboat Gamblers, Band of Horses, and Broken Gold.
Formed by Ian MacDougall and Stuart Sikes, the project has a new two-song debut out on their own Hundo Beach Broadcasts label.
The band describes the conect as follows:
Nice Surprise is a recording project between Ian MacDougall (Guitarist in Riverboat Gamblers, Band of Horses, Broken Gold) and Stuart Sikes (Recording Engineer/producer, Grammy winner)
The idea was to do something loud, fuzzy, fun and with no second guess’s on the outcome of performances or takes.
What you have here is the first 2 songs of many to come in the future.
