First Blood Postpone Central American Touring Plans

Posted by Jon E. on April 10, 2010

First Blood have postponed their Central America touring plans. The group issued the following statement on the matter:

“We have just finished the Mexico 2010 chapter of our tour with Maya Over Eyes and Days Of Struggle and it was an absolute blast! Special thanks to all of the kids, the bands, the promoters, and venues for making this tour a success. You are all our friends and we appreciate it so much for making this possible.

Unfortunately, due to a few last minute venue changes, we regret to announce that we have been forced to postpone the Central America chapter of the tour to a later time this year.

With the already mounting travel expenses, we felt it would be best to reschedule the dates so that we could be more confident with the routing, as well as have the opportunity to add more countries to the tour.

Also, rescheduling these shows will give us the opportunity to bring our upcoming new album, “Silence Is Betrayal“, along with us on the tour for all the kids of Central America to hear.

As of now, we are currently planning the new dates for this coming fall. Updates will be posted online as soon as we get the details. We have been looking forward to touring Central America and meeting all the kids and bands for as long as we have been a band. We sincerely apologize for postponing this tour. Please know that we will be there soon with a new album at full force, so get ready. We will see you soon!

Over and out.

Sincerely,

FIRST BLOOD
