Thursday vocalist Geoff Rickly recently spoke with Buzznet.com about the band's upcoming split with Envy, their next full-length effort, and his side-project United Nations. Among the details are the following. Thursday is hoping to line up a tour with Envy to coincide with the release of their split album, which is slated for a Summer release via Temporary Residence Limited. In other news Thursday is in the process of writing material for their next full-length. The band hopes to enter the studio this Summer to record for the upcoming release. The band is currently without a label following their departure from Island Records in March of this year. Rickly also commented on United Nations, the power-violence side-project of Rickly with members of Converge and Glassjaw among others. The band will be releasing their debut full-length through Eyeball Records. The band has ten songs in various stages of recording and hopes to finish them up for a Summer 2008 release.
