The Police To Play New Songs / Possible New Album

Posted by Michael on April 25, 2007

According to an article in the newest issue of Rolling Stone, The Police are planning to play new songs on their reunion tour set to take place this Summer. Guitarist Andy Summers had this to say:
We've been jamming acoustically lately, and we've been really enjoying it. We'll be playing a couple of new songs at the shows in the summer.
Additionally, there are talks of tracking a new album, what would be their sixth full-length. Summers added:
If we do well with these concerts, we may well make an album. I can't see why not.
The Police will be on tour worldwide throughout the Summer. Dates can be found here.
