Mike Patton Update

Posted by Michael on February 13, 2007

Being that he is such a busy man, always working on some project, here is the lowdown on Mike Patton: First off, Patton will be contributing to a remix album of Foetus' Love, entitled Vein. Also set to contribute are Matmos, Fennesz, Jason Forrest, Tweaker, Tujiko Noriko, and more. Look for that album in the Spring via Birdman Records. Patton tracked a duet of The Beatles' song "Julia" with Carla Hassett. The song appears on her recently released album, Quero Saber. You can stream the song online here. And finally, according to Billboard, new records are due out later this year from Tomahawk and Moonchild, which also features John Zorn. There are also tentative plans for a new Fantômas album in 2008. In the meantime, you can catch Peeping Tom on tour in the US. Dates can be found here.
