Fear Before Vocalist Injured

Posted by Jenny on November 9, 2006

Punknews reports that Fear Before the March of Flames vocalist David Marion was injured last night during a performance in San Diego, taking a bass guitar to the face mid-set.
He was struck by Mike Madruga's bass guitar in the face, and his cheek was pierced by the tuning pegs. David was knocked unconscious and when he awoke was spitting out large amounts of blood. After he was cleaned up, they noticed a large hole was pierced in the side of David's cheek, where the guitar's tuning pegs had hit him. Despite his injuries, David still managed to finished the band's set before leaving in an ambulance for the hospital.
In spite of his injuries, the band will remain on The Radio Rebellion Tour. Look out for scenepointblank's review of the bands latest release The Always Open Mouth soon.
