It's the era of the deluxe record release. This time with an updated release of Cadence Weapon's Rollercoaster, first released at the start of the year. The new version comes via MNRK Music Group on Oct. 3 and contains five new tracks.
Watch a new single below, “Wormhole” (feat. Nick Hook & Salva). “I recorded ‘Wormhole’ with Nick Hook at his studio in Brooklyn. I wrote about an incident back in Hamilton where my friend Kojo Damptey’s campaign posters were covered with racist stickers. I wanted to examine the thought process of people who have been radicalized online,” artist Rollie Pemberton says in a statement.
Cadence Weapon will also soon host a residency, “The Entertainer with Cadence Weapon,” in Toronto in October, followed by a short tour.
