Geekburger.com Calls It A Day

Posted in Obituaries on July 4, 2007

Fellow music-zine Geekburger has announced that they will be scaling back from a full-content e-zine to blog format. The zine was founded in January of 2002 by Andrew Haak. As for the future of Geekburger, here is what Haak had to say:
Geekburger.com will soon go the way of many webzines that have to "scale back" but not die and turn into an mp3 blog. It'll be much simpler for us and our readers, less formal and more frequently updated. I still have a strong urge to write about hardcore, metal, and punk rock ... anything good, really ... and do it on my own. Hopefully our readers who have been visiting for years will continue to look to us for recommendations.
