Galen (Infera Bruo)

SPB: Do you have a favorite type of van or bus?

Galen: One that doesn't break down is preferable. We generally end up renting a van so it's typically not a problem. Sometimes if there's a back-line we'll drive cars, which feels pretty stupid but can save a few dollars. We've never been in a bus but I'm sure there are some nice ones out there. A few years ago I was planning on living in a van. Probably an Econoline or something like that. Then I realized that it would suck to live in a van and got back to working and paying rent.

I came across Infera Bruo a couple of years back when they were releasing their debut album, Desolate Unknown. The perspective of the band on the black metal genre was intriguing, remaining true to the roots of the genre, but also building on top of its traditional outlook. The dissonant quality was overflowing in the record, while the inclusion of … Read more

Tommy Colliton (Curse Words) SPB: What is the most tiresome stereotype about punk rock? Colliton: I find one of the most tiresome stereotypes would be that punk has to be yelling angry, aggressive lyrics. While there’s plenty to be pissed off about and it’s rather cathartic yelling along in a … Read more
