M Shannon Kerr (Eight.Fold.Path)

SPB: What is your favorite font?

Kerr: Ha, you thought you’d catch me out with a weird random question, but I love fonts!

My favorite is Night Traveler, the one I use for my logo! It was made by Dan from Iconian Fonts. He makes all kinds of really cool and interesting fonts, and is worth checking out. You can find his work on all the font sites, and he is a very cool guy to interact with!

Of the more “standard” fonts, I’m generally partial to sans serif fonts, the ones without the extraneous bits; serif fonts always give me a specific vibe, very formal. Might be just me, but using a serif font for something informal feels like wearing a tuxedo to work!

If I had to choose, I’d go with Helvetica -

There's a reason it became the default for so long, it’s a really beautifully proportional design!
