Pittsburgh was once a bustling city booming with economic success. But over the years the city has slowly slipped into a depression that has filled the streets with pessimistic and bitter individuals. This sentiment of despair is showcased in the music of Unreal City and their debut full-length, Ephemeral Subsistence, with its twelve tracks of dark, cathartic, metallic hardcore. The album was recorded at the legendary Mars Recording Studio in Cleveland, OH with producer Bill Korecky (Earth Crisis "Firestorm," Terror "Lowest of the Low," Ringworm "Birth is Pain"). The album also features original artwork by Stephen Kasner who has also contributed art to releases by Integrity, Himsa, and Sunn O))).
Scene Point Blank presents you with an exclusive full-album stream of Ephemeral Subsistence, which is due out November 25th via Double or Nothing Records. Pre-orders are currently being taken via the label's website.
