Topon Das (Fuck The Facts)

What are your top five albums that were released in 2011? (in order 1-5)
  1. Secret Chiefs 3 - Saptarshi/Radar
  2. Ulcerate - The Destroyers Of All
  3. Today Is The Day - Pain Is A Warning
  4. Defeatist - Tyranny Of Decay
  5. KEN Mode - Venerable
What band did you discover in 2011 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?

My neighbor showed me Ulcerate and it's rad. They remind of of Morbid Angel meets Gorguts and those bands had a definite impact on my life.

How will you remember 2011 (in terms of music)?

I played, wrote and recorded a lot of it.

What can we look forward to from you in 2012?

I'll be playing, writing and recording a lot more music. I also might shave my beard.

What records are you looking forward to most in 2012?

I don't really have my ear to the ground on what's happening, I usually find out about a new album after it's been released. Even from bands I already like. But some friends of mine will be releasing new ones. Check out Biipiigwan and Deamon for their new stuff.

What did you expect to be huge in 2011 which never made it?

Chocolate covered potato chips and the end of the world.
