Hugo (Sainte Catherines)

What are your top five albums that were released in 2010? (In order 1-5)
  1. Leatherface- The Stormy Petrel
  2. Against Me!- White Crosses
  3. Vulgaires Machins- Requiem Pour Les Sourds
  4. Metric- Fantasies
  5. Off With Their Heads- In Desolation
What band did you discover in 2010 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?

Metric. I saw the name a million times and was never interested thinking they were indie rock, pop bullshit, but i was wrong. Brilliant songwriting, sexy voice, great lyrics..amazing band.

I'll remember that my band Yesterday's Ring stoped playing together and that The Sainte Catherines started playing again. I'll forget about the 80s revival in mainstream and punk. Please.

How will you remember 2010? (In terms of music)

I'll remember that my band Yesterday's Ring stoped playing together and that The Sainte Catherines started playing again. I'll forget about the 80s revival in mainstream and punk. Please.

With more and more bands switching to digital methods of releasing music and communicating with audiences in 2010, do you think there's still a place for physical CDs and word-of-mouth shows in the future?

Yes. I think people like me who grew up on booklets and artowork, can't get enough of it.

What can we look forward to from you in 2011?

Hopefully a collaboration with Kid Rock.

What three records are you looking forward to most in 2011?
