Pulling Teeth/A389 Records (Dom Romeo)

What are your top five albums that were released in 2008?

  1. Torche - Meanderthal
  2. Blacklisted - Heavier than Heaven, Lonelier than God
  3. Integrity - Walpurgisnacht
  4. Trapped Under Ice - Stay Cold
  5. Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue

What band did you discover in 2008 (can be a brand new band or an older band) that had an impact on your life? What made them significant?

Oak. I overheard them practicing while tracking the new Pulling Teeth album and they totally blew me away. New 12" coming out January 12th on A389.

How will you remember 2008? (In terms of music)

Pulling Teeth toured a lot....oh and Rick Ta Life made a rap song that no one I know can stop listening to.

Vinyl record sales saw a significant increase this year while hard copy sales continued to dwindle. Is this a return to the glory days for vinyl or just a phase? Explain.

Make room for your CDs next to your 8-tracks. And if you have any ELO 8-tracks, send them my way.

What was the most memorable moment for you in 2008? (Can be in terms of anything)

Nothing I wanna share. Sorry.

What can we look forward to from you in 2009?

Pulling Teeth "Paranoid Delusions/Paradise Illusions" LP

What three records are you looking forward to most in 2009?

Frightener - The Worst, Integrity - The Blackest Curse, and Rot In Hell - Hallways of the Always."
