Timeless

Posted pre-2010

TIMELESS is a group based out of Brooklyn, New York. They were the only metal band at Warped Tour, and are currently unsigned. SPB asked them a bunch of questions.

Timeless is

Kyle Radzyminski (vocals)

Greg McKnight (guitar)

Denis Kravchenko (drums)

JJ Burke (bass)

Scene Point Blank: If you had to marry a male celebrity, who would it be and why?

Greg: David Hasselhoff. Why? He's the man.

JJ: Tony Danza.

Scene Point Blank: If you could go to a restaurant where the waiters were dressed up as anything that you wanted, what would it be?

Greg: The guys would have to dress up as penguins. The girls would have to be naked. I just like skin. A whipped cream bikini.

Scene Point Blank: New York or Tokyo?

Together: New York?

Scene Point Blank: If you had to buy a wife from a foreign country, which would it be?

Denis: Brazil. They'd do anything I'd tell them to and they don't speak my language.

JJ: Japan.

Greg: Peruvian. Why did we all say South American girls?

JJ: I said Japan.

Scene Point Blank: What was your High School Senior prank, if any?

JJ: I live in a town called Floral Park, and we took off the 'f' and the 'l' on the side of the school and it just said â??Oral Park'.

Scene Point Blank: What band stickers do you have on your car?

JJ: I have none because I drive a Mercedes and I don't want to put any stickers on it.

Denis: I have a BMW. Same goes for me.

Greg: I don't drive, but on our bus we have Waiting For a Miracle.

Scene Point Blank: Myspace or Purevolume?

Together: Myspace!

Greg: Who's got a computer, you got wireless internet? Aaahhh!

JJ: Myspace will not make you popular in real life. It's good for promoting.

Scene Point Blank: What's the craziest show you've ever played?

Greg: We'll just say Warped Tour.

Scene Point Blank: How has your look changed since you were younger?

Denis: I used to be ghetto. First I was just Russian, then I was ghetto, then I was techno.

Greg: Parachute pants.

Scene Point Blank: Do you remember doing anything out of the ordinary to gain crowds when you first did shows?

Greg: We just got done walking around with big signs that said, 'Fuck emo. 100% metal.' And â??Ass n titties'

Denis: A lot of sexual gimmicks.

JJ: Sex sells.

Scene Point Blank: So what do you guys think about the Nightmare Before Christmas? Too corporate?

JJ: It was a cool movie when I was like 10.

Greg: It's nothing to be obsessed about, we don't wear the shirts, we don't rock the hats. But it's a cool movie.

Kyle: I have a friend who's got a band who is actually so obsessed with the movie that they're covering the entire soundtrack on their album. That's a little excessive.

Greg: Jack Skellington is not a role model.

Denis: Or an actual person.

Greg: Or someone to worship.

Scene Point Blank: What's the weirdest outfit that you've seen on tour?

Together: Hellogoodbye.

Greg: Chewbacca playing the drums. That was the best. (makes Chewbacca noise)

Scene Point Blank: What do you guys think about straight-edge?

Denis: I have no problem with it, just don't preach.

Kyle: I was actually straight-edge until I was 21. I felt like it was my time, you know? I mean, I've become a maniac when I drink, but it's all I do. I don't do drugs.

Greg: I do have a problem with straight-edge bands that aren't straight-edge.

Scene Point Blank: What's your favourite Chinese food?

Denis: Chicken and broccoli without the broccoli. Chicken Lo Mein.

Scene Point Blank: What's the last movie that you saw in theaters?

Greg: Oh god. The Breakup. The worst movie I've ever seen. Jennifer Aniston.

Scene Point Blank: What CDs have you gotten recently?

Denis: The Smashup CD. Fucking amazing. The last CD that I ripped was Bullet For My Valentine.

Scene Point Blank: What's one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?

Kyle: Look at Denis' fingers.

Scene Point Blank: How old were you when you got your first tattoo?

JJ: 16. My dad took me. He had told me that he got his first one when he was 16, so on my 16th birthday, I said, â??Listen, you can't tell me no.' So he took me and I got it.

Scene Point Blank: Who in the band goofs off the most?

Denis: We're all a bunch of fucking idiots.

Scene Point Blank: What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?

Kyle: We don't get embarrassed. We have no shame.

Scene Point Blank: Any last words?

Kyle: Emo sucks.

JJ: Metal is TIMELESS.

Greg: Tila Tequila is ugly.
