Jim Eno of Spoon is kicking off his own label called Public Hi-Fi Records. Their first release will be from Dupree from Austin, TX, with the record Nuestro Camino on April 30.
Eno plans to record and produce each of the label's releases.
Spoon, set to release the new album They Want My Soul on Aug. 5 (Loma Vista) has announced a headlining North American tour in the fall.
Dates are listed below. They will be joined by Hamilton Leithauser or EMA on many of the tour stops.
Spoon will be touring this spring-summer, joined on many dates by Future Islands or The decemberists.
The tour covers parts of the US and Canada and tickets are on sale February 13. Spoon released They Want My Soul last year on Loma Vista.
