ROT IN HELL / WITHDRAWAL SPLIT 10"

Escapist Records is extremely pleased to announce the upcoming split release between two of recent hardcore’s most intriguing entities: U.K.'s Rot in Hell and Winnipeg, Canada’s Withdrawal. Each band will be contributing brand new recordings to the record, which is slated for a Summer release on 10” vinyl as well as a digital release.

Continuing their ever-busy release schedule, Rot In Hell has been writing new compositions rooted in the Holy Terror school of thought for their side of the split with plans to enter the studio next month to record. The band’s ever-expanding catalog speaks for itself and with upcoming split recordings with Integrity and Pale Creation and their Deathwish Inc. debut imminent, we couldn’t be more excited and honored to be working with the band.

Withdrawal partnered their first proper release, the Unknown Misery 7”, with a Midwest/Eastcoast tour alongside likeminded allies Creatures and Downpresser last year, quickly finding themselves with a rabid and growing fanbase. Withdrawal is in the midst of recording their side of the split, which will feature three new auditory exercises with two ambient soundscapes segueing the musical expositions together. The first in a series of studio videos documenting their recording can be viewed here. Needless to say, we’re on the edge of our seats in anticipation for what Withdrawal churns out next.

In related news, Withdrawal will be embarking on a Westcoast tour with Escapist alumni Crucified in May followed by an appearance at Rainfest and a Canadian trek alongside Sojourner. Further touring this Summer is planned, including a full U.S. tour:

Crucified will be entering the studio this month to record their debut full-length for Double or Nothing Records. It's one of our most anticipated albums of the new year. Be prepared for plenty of touring across the U.S. in support this Summer.

THIS TIME NEXT YEAR

This Time Next Year just wrapped up a support tour of Four Year Strong and Strike Anywhere. They'll soon be hitting the road again, this time supporting Comeback Kid and Set Your Goals, followed by more touring with Crime in Stereo and select Warped Tour dates.
